Spring Clean-Up Day Scheduled for April 6th, 2024: Join Us for a Greener Mulberry!

The City of Mulberry is excited to announce our annual Spring Clean-Up event, set to take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kirksey Park, located at 29 Kirksey Parkway, Mulberry. In our continued effort to beautify our community and foster environmental stewardship, we invite all residents to participate in this vital initiative. To facilitate the clean-up efforts, dumpsters will be conveniently located at Kirksey Park for the disposal of trash and unwanted items. This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to declutter their homes and properties, while also contributing to the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our shared spaces. Adding to the day’s activities, the Mulberry Lions Club will graciously host a pancake breakfast from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This breakfast is free for all volunteers who join us in picking up trash and beautifying our community. For those not participating in the clean-up, breakfast will be available for a nominal fee of $5 per person. The proceeds from the breakfast will support a noble cause, as the Mulberry Lions Club aims to raise funds for the purchase of an eye machine. This vital equipment will be used to conduct eye tests for children at all area schools, underscoring the commitment to the health and well-being of our youngest residents. We encourage everyone in the community to come out, lend a hand, and enjoy a morning of camaraderie, service, and delicious pancakes. Together, we can make a significant impact on our environment and take a step towards a cleaner, greener Mulberry. For more information and to register as a volunteer for the clean-up, please show up the morning of the event ready to help. Let’s come together as a community to make this Spring Clean-Up Day a success!
