Mulberry-Pleasant View High School Auditorium
The Mulberry-Pleasant View High School Auditorium located in Mulberry, Arkansas is a statement to the School District’s dedication to the Arts. Located between the existing High School and Administration Offices, the modern form acts as both campus connector and gateway to the Dana Higdon Memorial Plaza.
The 12,500 square foot building is designed for musical performance, theatre, and art exhibitions. The rear of the auditorium seating area can be converted to meeting space or a breakout area by retracting the platform seating risers. The auditorium will seat 500, with 250 fixed seats on the lower sloped floor and 250 seats or powered retractable risers. Support Spaces include a Green Room, kitchenette, restrooms, and lobby.
The memorial plaza was conceived to honor the school’s former superintendent. The plaza encourages outdoor social interaction and is located between the high school cafeteria and the new auditorium. A covered walkway connects the existing high school to the new auditorium.
